Great cuisine, warm service and good wine!

Pseudo-French cuisine at prices that are completely beyond Baden-Baden. The service "snappy", single-handed with French arrogance. Are there far more attractive alternatives in Baden Baden?

We ate tarte flambée and salads here, simply delicious! And the French Merlot was incredibly tasty!

We went here because the tarte flambée should be particularly good - we first ordered one to try, among other things. because almost no one is available in single digits. We left it with one - it was ok but not particularly good. Drinks felt very expensive. Location in the middle of the pedestrian zone, around 20 seats outside.

The owners are always super friendly. The food is excellent and the Corona precautionary measures are also perfectly implemented outdoors

Went here based on recommendation in NY Times travel article from 2017 and wasn't disappointed. Wonderful wine, good salads, and the traditional tartiflette with ham has me wanting to return tonight. Simple, but satisfying experience.

Very disappointed in this place. Probably good food and previous reviews showed promise. Our observation was that they seem to be amazing to their regulars. We came into the restaurant with a reservation and they moved a couple that was bear the door to a nicer table and put us in a table at the entrance which was quite cramped. We thought this was ok and justified it, however 15mins after sitting down we still didn't have menus, 40mins after sitting down, they still hadn't said a word to us or come to take our food or drinks order. Meanwhile people who had come in after us were served promptly and they were so friendly - e.g. a guy sat down and they were served drinks almost instantly and food shortly after. They were so attentive to their regulars too. I don't know if this I because I am darker in skin colour having an indian-portuguese background and my partner is caucasian. I don't want to say they were being racist but it was not a pleasant experience at all. Seeing previous reviews being so positive about the service makes me question the treatment we received further. We ended up leaving after 45mins of no service, unfortunately. Was really looking forward to their food but it was quite humiliating.

The food was nice, but nothing memorable and quite expensive for the type of restaurant. Paid 100€ for two (60€ for one flammkuchen and two mains and 33€ for wine and 7€ for water because apparently they don’t serve tap water).

The place is tiny with maybe 30-35 covers. The staff is wonderful and works very hard. They are super attentive. It must be run by family because I heard one patron tell the waitress to tell her husband that everything was delicious. The food was average. The menu is quite limited and two items I wanted to order were not available that night for dinner. The molten chocolate dessert was cold, not typically how it is served. The carpaccio was average. The chicken breast was nice but not particularly flavorful. The tagliatelli with shrimp was quite nice with just a hint of heat. The best item we ordered was the goat cheese with honey salad. Dinner came to over 80€. I preferred the restaurant across the street when it came down to it. But really the service was just divine. I wish every restaurant had such nice service.

Lovely French food at decent prices. The wine we had with dinner was so good (wish I could remember what it was!). The outdoor tables are also the perfect spot to people watch while enjoying the food :)

The goat cheese salad was delicious but so was everything else we ordered. Friendly staff and menu available in English if needed. Convenient location. Definitely recommend trying if you're in Baden-Baden.

Whenever I am in Baden Baden I go here to eat. The equipment is as you would imagine a small restaurant in France. The service has a very nice French accent and is extremely friendly. My favorite dish in winter is the beef cheeks. The meat is so tender that it crumbles in the mouth. And first the sauce. Wonderful dark brown with root vegetables and a great taste.

Stellar French cuisine

Fantastic food and friendly staff. We had a great experience here. It was very quiet at 2PM on a Friday with only one other party in the restaurant. We had scallops and chicken. Both dishes looked and tasted amazing. Highly recommended!

Very nice restaurant with original decor and excellent dishes. There is also something for vegetarians. The staff is nice and attentive. If the weather is good, a place outside is recommended, as you can watch the goings-on in Löwenbräu. Otherwise, the space in the window facing the street is very romantic.

My wife and I went for dinner tonight, and everything was fabulous! Great service, friendly staff and excellent food. My wife had cordon blue with sauce, and I had lamb haxe; both were fabulous! This was the small restaurant with a great heart that we were looking for in Baden-Baden. We will be back!
